Cassette type toilets are a type of toilet commonly used in mobile homes such as caravans. These toilets store waste materials in a portable cassette, which can then be emptied.
As Mobihome, we prefer to use a 19 liter capacity cassette toilet system in our caravans. Here is the basic information about using a cassette toilet:
Cassette Structure: Cassette toilets include a waste cassette at the bottom of the toilet bowl. This cassette is usually removable and can be cleaned and emptied.
Waste Storage and Chemical Additives: Waste is stored in cassette. Chemical additives are added to the cassette by a specified amount before use to prevent bad odors, separate the solid and prevent bacterial growth.
Things to Consider During Use: Paper, napkins, etc. should not be thrown in the toilet. When the cassette is full, the green sign next to the toilet turns red, indicating that the cassette is full and needs to be discharged. Again, before using the toilet, the cassette top cover must be in the open position by pulling the gray handle under the toilet.
Discharge of the Cassette: The cassette must be discharged at specified sewage disposal stations.
